"Enthusiastic five star review and I would give more than five stars if I could. The owner of Sun Flower (Kris) is an amazing caregiver and teacher to the kids. Kris assured us when we started when my son was 4 months old that she would be patient and diligent in making sure my son ate and napped enough everyday, which all parents of babies know, isn't easy. She always keeps us updated with pics on What's App and it's heartwarming to see my son thriving there and playing with his friends. Kris helped my son through so many developmental leaps throughout the years like crawling, standing with a walker, walking, eating solids, singing, and talking. Her backyard and playground are padded, flat, and totally fun and safe for kids. One of the concerns I had over the past year and a half were of course avoiding any outbreaks. Kris keeps the facilities really safe and clean by cleaning/disinfecting daily and wearing a mask herself. I can assure any parent out there concerned about this that Kris has been doing and will continue to do everything she can to keep everyone safe and healthy. Overall, I can't recommend Sun Flower enough. My son just started preschool and every morning he asks if he can "see old friends" since he misses it there so much. "If you're looking for an amazing daycare, look no further! We looked at 6 or 7 places before we settled on Sun Flower, and are so happy we did!! Our son has been there since he was 7 months old, and has been thriving there.Kris and her mother-in-law, Ling, are fantastic caregivers and have created a warm and loving environment in their home. As a first time parents, they have helped us through many developmental milestones, including teething, walking, talking, counting, reading letters, socializing with other kids, and many more! We also appreciate the COVID/infection precautions they take to prevent any outbreaks. The facilities are cleaned and disinfected daily, the adults are all vaccinated and wear masks during the day, and families are required to COVID test upon return from travel.My son looks forward to going to daycare here every day and has been learning and growing so much there!" - Yelp, Laura
"I researched heavily on many different places throughout the city for my first born for daycare. I chose sun flower family daycare because out of all the places I toured, I felt most comfortable here. The space is spotless! SO clean, and the kids are very well mannered and LOVE it here. Also, they are very attentive and provide such a warm and loving space. Healthy food every single day is also provided!!.My first born has been here for 4 years. Sadly (but happily) he has started public preschool, however my second son still goes to this day care! My boys understand Chinese and English fully, and that's a lot of thanks to Kris, who seriously is the most caring and loving to all the kids who go here. The backyard space is also amazing! Although only one of my boy goes here now, I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a genuine daycare for their child, who will learn and grow SO much, and also the most important thing to me was that both my kids LOVE Kris. They TRUST her like a second mom. I couldn't have found a better place. She also send a lot of pictures and updates throughout the day so if you miss your kid during the day (haha) you get little updates here and there!
